9.00 p.m. Showing of the film: “L’incubo di Darwin” (Darwin’s nightmare) by Hubert Sauper, Winner of the Best Documentary prize 2004 European Film Award. “A clear and thorny report on the exploitation by western companies of the fish of Lake Victoria in Africa, paid with the weapons that feed African conflict hotbeds …”

6.00 p.m. Inauguration of the exhibition “Il giornalismo che non muore” (Journalism that never dies) - A journey inside report journalism through the history of 14 correspondents. Ilaria Alpi, Giovanni Amendola, Piero Gobetti, Beppe Alfano, Carlo Casalegno, Walter Tobagi, Giudo Puletti, Maria Grazia Cutuli, Antonio Russo, Enzo Baldoni, Mauro De Mauro, Mario Francese, Giuseppe Fava, Giancarlo Siani. 5.00 p.m. Seminar “Riflettori sulla guerra, per accedere la pace” (Spotlights on war, to access peace) with Amy Goodman (Democracy Now) and Anna Politkovskaia (journalist of Novaya Gazeta) and Jeane Noujaim (film director of Control Room), Carlo Gubitosa (journalist of Peacelink). In collaboration with the Tavola della Pace of Perugia.
9.00 p.m. Round table "Quel che resta dell'inchiesta" (What is left of the investigation). Moderated by Marc Innaro. Guests: Amy Goodman (Democracy Now), Anna Politkovskaia (journalist of Novaya Gazeta), Gabriele Polo (Il Manifesto), Giovanni Minoli (Rai Educational), Riccardo Iacona (Rai Tre), Giovanni Maria Bellu (La Repubblica) Udo Gumpel (Ard) and Sergio Zavoli.

3.00 p.m. “Death in Gaza” by James Miller. “An intense documentary on the life of three children caught in the spiral of violence between Israelis and Palestinians in the Gaza strip”. The author, James Miller, was shot to death while filming this video.
And “Miguel: në Terren…”, by Lluis Jené and Enric Mirò. “The film tells the story of Miguel Gil’s short life, a Catalan reporter killed in Sierra Leone in 2000, after spending ten years between the conflicts in Bosnia, Chechnya and Kosovo”.
5.30 p.m. “Videoreporter, un mestiere a rischio tra racconto e testimonianza” (Videoreporter, a high risk job between narration and witness testimony). With Enric Mirò (Televisiòn de Catalunya), Claudio Speranza (Miran Hrovatin Prize) and Gianfranco Rados (Video est), Philip Cox (Naive voice Film). Moderated by Stefano Paolillo.
9.00 p.m. Award Giving Ceremony. Presented by Giovanni Floris (Rai Tre). The evening will be dedicated to press freedom.
